6 Reasons Pakistani Families Choose Zhengzhou University

Zhengzhou University sits in China’s Premium tier for a reason: a Project 211 research institution with the largest hospital network attached to any MBBS your child can apply to through MTZ. Here is what your family protects by choosing it.

1

Thin clinical exposure stunts a doctor before residency

Send your child to a college with one small teaching hospital and the clinical years run dry: too few patients, too few cases, not enough hands-on rounds. Zhengzhou University attaches 9 affiliated hospitals carrying more than 15,000 beds and over 4,000,000 outpatient visits a year, with the First Affiliated Hospital alone holding 12,000 beds. Your child rotates through real case volume, not a queue for one ward.

2

A weak research base leaves a CV that stalls at application stage

When your child later applies for residency or a master’s abroad, a university with no research standing weakens every application. Zhengzhou University’s clinical medicine ranks in the top 1% globally on Essential Science Indicators (ESI), and the institution placed 385th in the 2023 U.S. News university ranking. Your child graduates from a name that admissions committees recognise.

3

An unrecognised degree cannot be licensed in Pakistan

Pick the wrong Chinese university and your child returns home with a degree PMDC will not accept, blocking the NLE and any licence to practise. Zhengzhou University is on the official PMDC recognised foreign institutions list, confirmed 28 May 2026. Your child keeps the Pakistan licensing route open from day one.

4

Mandarin-only clinical teaching can derail the whole degree

At bilingual colleges, your child hits a wall in Year 3 when teaching switches to Mandarin before the language is ready. Zhengzhou University teaches the full 6-year MBBS in English and requires HSK-4 Chinese only for the Year 6 internship, giving your child years to build the clinical Chinese needed for ward communication rather than facing it cold.

5

Hidden tuition rises across six years wreck a family budget

Some institutions advertise a low first-year fee, then escalate it. Zhengzhou University publishes a flat MBBS tuition of CNY 35,000 per year, CNY 210,000 across the full degree, on its official admissions page. Your family plans the entire 6-year cost upfront, with MTZ confirming exact PKR figures in writing before any payment.

6

A provincial campus with no international community isolates a Pakistani student

Drop your child into a university with a handful of foreign students and the support network simply is not there. Zhengzhou University hosts more than 2,300 international students from 88 countries, including around 940 international MBBS undergraduates from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia and beyond, with a Muslim cafeteria on campus. Your child joins an established community, not an outpost.

Can Your Child Apply for MBBS at Zhengzhou University?

Zhengzhou University sets its own entry requirements, and PMDC sets additional conditions for Pakistani students. Both apply. The table below covers the university-specific requirements. Confirm PMDC’s current MDCAT requirement at pmdc.pk before applying.

Academic Requirements

Pass FSc Pre-Medical (or equivalent) meeting Zhengzhou University’s minimum standard. The university confirms the exact percentage on application; MTZ advises a strong Pre-Medical result with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Age Requirements

Between 18 and 25 years (official ZZU MBBS requirement).

English proficiency

IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80 or equivalent, for applicants from non-English-speaking countries (official ZZU requirement).

CSCA

The CSCA entrance examination is a mandatory admission requirement for Zhengzhou University. Your child cannot be admitted without sitting and passing CSCA for this intake.

MDCAT

PMDC’s current MDCAT policy for Pakistani students going abroad applies. This is a PMDC condition, not a Zhengzhou condition. Confirm the current requirement at pmdc.pk before you apply.

Physical and Medical Requirements

Zhengzhou University requires your child to be in sound physical and mental health, with no infectious or mental disease and no criminal record, in line with its international admission rules. A physical examination report forms part of the application, and an on-arrival health re-check is completed in Zhengzhou before enrolment. Applicants under 18 require a guardian’s authorisation letter, though this rarely applies given the 18-year minimum age.

What MTZ Verifies Before Submitting Your Application

Before any Zhengzhou University application goes out, MTZ checks that your child’s FSc result meets the university’s minimum standard, that the CSCA registration and sitting date are booked early enough for the September intake, that the IELTS or TOEFL score is on file, and that the passport, transcripts, diploma, non-criminal certificate, and physical examination report are complete and correctly certified. MTZ also re-verifies Zhengzhou University’s PMDC recognition status on the day of submission.

CSCA is mandatory for Zhengzhou University. The exam covers core science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and is held in multiple sittings across the year (typical windows: January, March, April, June, December). Your child registers for CSCA at csca.cn (opens in a new tab). Because Zhengzhou’s September intake closes after two to three selection rounds between April and July, MTZ advises your child to sit CSCA in the January to April window so the result is ready well before the deadline. Leaving CSCA to a June sitting risks missing the September intake entirely. MTZ guides every family on CSCA timing and registration.

How MTZ Applies Pakistani Students to Zhengzhou University

The steps below cover the Zhengzhou University application only. For the full general MBBS application process for China, see our complete guide at /mbbs-in-china/.

Step 1

Free Eligibility Review with MTZ

Your family sends FSc marks and passport details to MTZ. MTZ confirms your child meets Zhengzhou University’s academic, age, and English requirements, and maps the CSCA timeline against the September deadline.

Step 2

Sit the CSCA Entrance Examination (Mandatory)

This step is mandatory and must be completed before any other application step proceeds. Your child registers for CSCA at csca.cn (opens in a new tab), sits the exam in a January to April window, and obtains a passing result. Without a CSCA pass, Zhengzhou University will not process the application.

Step 3

Document Preparation and Certification

MTZ assembles the application set: passport, certified high school transcripts and diploma, non-criminal record certificate, IELTS or TOEFL report, physical examination report, passport photos, and the reference letter. MTZ checks every document against Zhengzhou’s checklist before submission.

Step4

Online Application Submission

MTZ submits the application through Zhengzhou University’s official online system at the international admissions portal, with the CSCA result attached, inside the correct selection round between April and July.

Step 5

University Review and Interview

Zhengzhou University reviews the application across its two to three selection rounds and may conduct an online interview or request a short introduction video. MTZ prepares your child for this step.

Step 6

Admission Letter and JW202 Issuance

On selection, Zhengzhou University issues the admission letter. Zhengzhou University is MOE-listed. A JW202 form is therefore required for your child’s X1 Student Visa application, and the university issues it alongside the admission letter.

Step 7

X1 Student Visa Application

MTZ guides your family through the X1 student visa application at the Chinese embassy or CVASC using the admission letter and JW202. MTZ prepares the full visa file.

Step 8

Pre-Departure Briefing and Fee Confirmation

MTZ confirms the exact PKR fee figure in writing at the prevailing rate, briefs your family on packing, banking, and arrival, and books travel for the September enrolment.

Step 9

Arrival, Pickup, and Enrolment

Your child arrives at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, where MTZ arranges pickup at no charge, completes the on-arrival medical re-check, pays the local registration and residence-permit charges, and enrolls at Zhengzhou University for the start of the MBBS.

Where Can Your Child Practise After MBBS from Zhengzhou University?

Zhengzhou University’s MOE-listed status opens licensing pathways your child can pursue across several countries, subject to each regulator’s current criteria. The three most relevant for Pakistani families are covered below. For the full country-by-country comparison across all 29 MTZ universities, see /mbbs-china-licensing/

ECFMG logo featuring a circular emblem next to the text 'ECFMG'

MOE-Listed Status

Zhengzhou University holds MOE-listed status for English-medium MBBS delivery to international students, a status it has held since 1998. This listing is the baseline most international regulators check before they consider a graduate’s qualification. Confirm the current listing at en.moe.gov.cn

Logo of Al Ain Medical & Dental College with a blue circular emblem and a stylized winged figure, English and Arabic text around the edge.

Pakistan, PMDC NLE Pathway

Zhengzhou University is on the PMDC recognised foreign institutions list, verified 28 May 2026. After the 6-year degree, your child sits the NLE administered by PMDC to register and practise in Pakistan. The NLE is mandatory for every foreign MBBS graduate regardless of country of study. MTZ re-verifies PMDC recognition before placing each student. Always confirm the current list at pmdc.pk

ECFMG logo featuring a circular emblem next to the text 'ECFMG'

ECFMG Eligibility (USA Pathway)

Zhengzhou University’s MOE-listed status and its listing in the World Directory of Medical Schools support ECFMG eligibility for graduates who sit the USMLE sequence, provided the directory record is current when your child applies. Confirm Zhengzhou University’s WDOMS and ECFMG status at ecfmg.org (opens in a new tab) before committing to the US route. MTZ reviews this with your family at application.

For the full licensing comparison across MOE-listed Chinese medical universities, see the MBBS China licensing comparison page

MOE Listed vs Non-MOE Listed Universities: Which Suits You?

The 29 PMDC-approved Chinese medical universities where MTZ places Pakistani students split into two categories. Understanding the difference is the single most important decision a Pakistani family makes after committing to MBBS in China.

NMC India and BMDC Bangladesh apply to those countries’ students only. Pakistani students are unaffected by NMC or BMDC. PMDC recognises both MOE-listed and non-MOE-listed universities.

Where Zhengzhou University Sits
Zhengzhou University is MOE-listed. Your child studies the full 6-year MBBS in English, faces HSK-4 only for the Year 6 internship rather than as a clinical-progression gate, and keeps the widest set of international licensing pathways open. It sits in the left column of the table above.

Hostel and Accommodation at Zhengzhou University

Your child will live on campus for most or all of the 6-year degree. Here is exactly what the Zhengzhou University international dormitory provides so there are no surprises on arrival.

Life as a Pakistani Student at Zhengzhou University

Zhengzhou is the capital of Henan and one of central China’s largest cities, a national high-speed-rail hub where your child gets big-city amenities at a lower cost than Beijing or Shanghai.

Pakistani Students Association

Pakistani students already at Zhengzhou University organise informal community support for new arrivals, helping with settling in, banking, and the first weeks on campus. MTZ connects your child to this community before departure.

Pakistani student community

Zhengzhou University hosts around 940 international MBBS undergraduates, with students from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia and many other countries. Your child joins an established South Asian and Muslim student presence.

Airport pickup

Your child arrives at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport. MTZ arranges pickup at no charge and accompanies your child through the first week.

City character

Zhengzhou is an ancient city on the Yellow River with modern districts, large shopping centres, and a low cost of living relative to China’s eastern megacities. It is the gateway to the Shaolin Temple and Mount Song in nearby Dengfeng.

Climate

Zhengzhou has a temperate, four-season climate: hot summers reaching the mid-30s Celsius, and cold winters that can drop near or below freezing with occasional snow. Your child should pack for both extremes.

Weekend activities

Your child can visit the Shaolin Temple, Mount Song, the Yellow River scenic area, the Henan Museum, and the city’s large retail and food districts on weekends.

Transport

Zhengzhou has a growing metro network, extensive buses, and DiDi ride-hailing. The city is a national high-speed-rail interchange, so travel to Xi’an, Beijing, and Shanghai is fast and affordable.

Communication with family

Reliable internet and Pakistani SIM-roaming or a local plan keep your child in daily contact. MTZ briefs your family on the best messaging and VPN setup before departure.

Halal Food at Zhengzhou University: What Your Child Will Actually Eat

This is one of the first questions Pakistani parents ask. The answer for Zhengzhou is straightforward. Here is what is available on campus and in the city.

Halal Access Points

Campus Muslim canteen (Qingzhen)

Zhengzhou University operates a Muslim (Qingzhen) cafeteria on campus, stated in its international student facilities. Your child eats halal daily without leaving campus.

Halal restaurants in the city

Henan has a sizeable Hui Muslim population, so Zhengzhou has many Qingzhen (halal) restaurants serving noodles, lamb, and Chinese-Muslim cuisine across the city.

Nearest mosque

Zhengzhou has established mosques serving its Hui community. MTZ shares the nearest mosque to campus with your child on arrival.

Prayer room on campus

MTZ confirms the current on-campus prayer arrangement for international Muslim students at enrolment.

Supermarket halal products

Qingzhen-labelled products are widely stocked in Zhengzhou supermarkets and on campus shops.

Ramadan provisions

The campus Muslim cafeteria and the city’s large Hui community make suhoor and iftar straightforward during Ramadan. MTZ briefs new students on Ramadan arrangements before the first fast.

Refund Policy and Risk Flags: Read Before You Pay

Every family needs to understand what is refundable and what is not before any payment is made to Zhengzhou University or to MTZ.

Refund Policy

Application fee
No

The CNY 800 application fee is non-refundable once the application is submitted.

Tuition fee
Conditional

Tuition is paid after admission and visa. Refund terms follow ZZU policy; MTZ confirms the written terms before your family pays.

Hostel fee
Conditional

Any hostel charge or deposit follows the dormitory’s terms. MTZ confirms these in writing before payment.

X1 visa rejection
Varies

If the X1 visa is refused, refundable and non-refundable components differ. MTZ sets out exactly what is recoverable before you pay.

MTZ service fee
Per agreement

The MTZ service fee terms are stated in your written agreement before you commit.

Risk flags — read these before applying:

CSCA is mandatory and runs in fixed sittings across the year. If your child sits CSCA too late, the result will not be ready before the September deadline and the intake is lost. MTZ schedules CSCA in the January to April window to protect the timeline.

Age limit risk

Zhengzhou University admits MBBS applicants aged 18 to 25. If your child falls outside this range at the intake date, the application will not proceed. Confirm your child’s age against the September intake before starting.

Deadline risk

The September intake closes after two to three selection rounds between April and July. Late applications miss the intake and wait a full year. MTZ starts your child’s file early to avoid this.

Document quality risk

Incomplete, uncertified, or poorly translated documents are the most common cause of rejection. MTZ certifies and checks every document before submission.

PMDC list change risk

PMDC updates its recognised foreign institutions list periodically. A university’s status can change. MTZ re-verifies Zhengzhou University on pmdc.pk before every placement, and your family should confirm it before applying.

CSCA deadline risk

CSCA is mandatory and runs in fixed sittings across the year. If your child sits CSCA too late, the result will not be ready before the September deadline and the intake is lost. MTZ schedules CSCA in the January to April window to protect the timeline.

Scholarships for MBBS Students at Zhengzhou University

Read this section carefully before any agent tells you a scholarship is guaranteed. MTZ’s position on scholarships is stated below in full. It does not change based on what you want to hear.

Zhengzhou University merit award

Undergraduate (from Year 2)

Awarded by the university on academic performance, at its discretion. Not available at admission and not guaranteed.

Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC)

Undergraduate / postgraduate

Government-funded scheme applied for separately; highly competitive and not tied to MBBS admission.

Provincial / Henan government scholarships

Varies

Provincial awards may apply; eligibility and availability change yearly. Confirm current terms before relying on any.

ZZU President Scholarship

Postgraduate (Doctoral)

Offered to outstanding doctoral candidates, per the university; not an undergraduate MBBS entry award.

MTZ does not promise any of the above. Your family should treat every scholarship as a possibility to apply for, never as a guaranteed reduction in the fees

What MTZ Will Not Promise for Zhengzhou University

CEO Mubbashir Qureshi brings 25+ years of personal experience to every application MTZ handles. We have seen what happens when consultants overpromise. Here is our position, in writing.

What MTZ Will Not Do

Admission is never guaranteed. Zhengzhou University makes its own selection decision across its April-to-July rounds, and no agent controls that outcome.
Final PKR fees cannot be fixed in advance, because the CNY-PKR rate moves; MTZ quotes the exact figure at the rate on payment day.
Your child’s academic results are theirs to earn. MTZ does not promise grades, distinctions, or a smooth pass through any examination.
Scholarships are never assured. Any award is Zhengzhou University’s independent decision, taken later and on merit.
PMDC policy can change. MTZ does not promise that today’s MDCAT or recognition rules will hold unchanged through the full degree.
Visa timelines sit with the Chinese embassy and CVASC, so MTZ will not promise a guaranteed visa date.
Clinical placement quality depends on Zhengzhou University’s hospital allocation; MTZ does not promise a specific hospital, ward, or rotation slot.
CSCA results rest entirely with the examination body. MTZ does not promise a pass, only correct, timely registration and preparation guidance.

What MTZ Commits To

Verifying Zhengzhou University’s PMDC recognition on pmdc.pk before every single placement, never from memory.
You receive a full written fee breakdown in CNY and indicative PKR before any payment is requested.
Throughout the 6-year degree, MTZ stays reachable for your child and your family, not just until enrolment.
Should the X1 visa be refused, MTZ follows a clear resubmission and support policy set out in your written agreement.
MTZ places students only at PMDC-recognised universities it has verified, and walks away from any institution it cannot stand behind.
Registering your child for CSCA early enough that the result is ready before the September deadline, with full preparation guidance.

Zhengzhou University: Campus and City

Where your child studies shapes the full 6-year experience. Here is exactly what the Zhengzhou University campus and the city of Zhengzhou look like on the ground.

The Campus

Zhengzhou University spreads across about 433 hectares (1,070 acres) over four campuses: the main campus on Science Avenue plus the south, north, and east campuses. It is the largest university in China by student numbers, with over 44,000 undergraduates, nearly 30,000 postgraduates, and more than 2,300 international students. As a Project 211 and Double First-Class institution, it carries a large library, modern laboratories, sports facilities, a museum, and an on-campus Muslim cafeteria. Your child studies medicine within a multi-faculty research university covering 13 disciplines, not a stand-alone medical college.

Zhengzhou is the capital of Henan and one of central China’s largest cities, an ancient settlement on the Yellow River that has grown into a national high-speed-rail hub. The climate runs four full seasons: hot summers in the mid-30s Celsius and cold winters that can dip near freezing with occasional snow, so your child packs for both. The city is served by Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, with a metro network, extensive buses, and DiDi ride-hailing for daily travel. Henan’s large Hui Muslim community means halal (Qingzhen) food and mosques are easy to find. Weekend trips reach the Shaolin Temple and Mount Song in nearby Dengfeng, the Yellow River scenic area, and the Henan Museum. Living costs sit well below Beijing or Shanghai, which keeps the 6-year budget manageable.

Clearing Up Misinformation About MBBS at Zhengzhou University

Incorrect information about MBBS at Zhengzhou University circulates online and through unqualified agents. Read the facts.

“Zhengzhou University is not recognised by PMDC”

Wrong, and acting on it could cost your child a career. Zhengzhou University appears on the official PMDC recognised foreign institutions list as “Zhengzhou University, Bachelor of Medicine in Medicine, MBBS,” verified 28 May 2026. Your child can sit the NLE and register in Pakistan after the degree. Always reconfirm at pmdc.pk before applying.

“The MBBS is not in English: you must learn Mandarin”

This scares families away from a degree that is fully English-medium. Zhengzhou University teaches the full 6-year MBBS in English. Mandarin is needed only for the Year 6 internship, where HSK-4 lets your child communicate with patients, and the curriculum builds that Chinese gradually across the earlier years.

“Chinese MBBS degrees are not accepted anywhere outside Pakistan”

Believe this and your child needlessly narrows their future. Zhengzhou University’s MOE-listed status supports licensing routes toward the USA (USMLE/ECFMG), UK (PLAB/UKMLA), Australia (AMC), Canada (MCCQE), and the Gulf, each subject to the relevant regulator’s current criteria, which MTZ helps your family verify.

“Zhengzhou is too extreme for Pakistani students”

This myth ignores how settled the city is for South Asian students. Zhengzhou has four normal seasons, a large Hui Muslim community with halal food and mosques, modern transport, and around 940 international MBBS students already on campus. Your child joins an established community, not a hostile environment.

“You can get MBBS in China cheaply without MDCAT”

Following this advice can void your child’s Pakistan licence. PMDC sets MDCAT and recognition conditions for Pakistani students studying abroad, and these apply regardless of what an agent claims. MTZ checks the current PMDC requirement for every family before any application.

“CSCA is optional or can be skipped for Zhengzhou University”

Skip CSCA and the application simply will not be processed. The CSCA entrance examination is a mandatory admission requirement for Zhengzhou University. Your child must register at csca.cn, sit the exam early, and pass before the September intake. MTZ schedules it to protect the deadline.

“MTZ guarantees admission to Zhengzhou University”

No honest consultant can promise this, and anyone who does is misleading you. MTZ does not guarantee admission. Zhengzhou University makes its own selection decision. MTZ commits to a correct, complete, on-time application and verified recognition, never to a guaranteed seat.

These are the questions Pakistani families ask MTZ most often about Zhengzhou University. Every answer is based on verified information. If something has changed since this page was last updated, WhatsApp MTZ before acting on it.

Q1: Is Zhengzhou University recognised by PMDC?

Yes. Zhengzhou University appears on the official PMDC recognised foreign institutions list as “Zhengzhou University, Bachelor of Medicine in Medicine, MBBS,” verified on 28 May 2026 at pmdc.pk. After completing the 6-year MBBS, your child must pass the NLE administered by PMDC to register and practise in Pakistan. MTZ re-verifies this recognition before placing any student, and you should reconfirm it at pmdc.pk before applying.

Q2: What are the MBBS fees at Zhengzhou University in 2026?

Annual tuition is CNY 35,000, which is CNY 210,000 across the full 6-year degree, taken from the official Zhengzhou University admissions figures. Hostel is CNY 15 to 30 per day. At an indicative rate of 1 CNY = PKR 40, annual tuition is about PKR 1,400,000. PKR figures are indicative only and depend on the exchange rate on the date of payment. MTZ confirms the exact PKR figure in writing before any payment.

Q3: Is the MBBS at Zhengzhou University taught in English?

Yes. Zhengzhou University teaches the full 6-year MBBS in English as an MOE-approved English-medium programme, a status held since 1998. Chinese is built into the curriculum across the years, and your child needs HSK Level 4 Chinese for the Year 6 clinical internship so they can communicate with patients on the ward.

Q4: Does Zhengzhou University require IELTS for Pakistani students?

Zhengzhou University requires IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80 or an accepted equivalent from applicants whose schooling was not in English. MTZ checks your child’s English evidence against the current requirement and advises whether a test is needed before the application goes out.

Q5: What is the intake date for MBBS at Zhengzhou University?

The main MBBS intake is September each year. Applications run through two to three selection rounds between April and July. Because places fill across these rounds, MTZ advises starting your child’s file early, ideally by spring, so the CSCA result and documents are ready well before the deadline.

Q6: What is the difference between MOE-listed and non-MOE universities?

MOE-listed universities teach the full MBBS in English and require HSK-4 only for the Year 6 internship, while non-MOE universities are bilingual and need HSK-4 by Year 1 to enter clinical years. MOE-listed universities generally cost more per year but keep the widest licensing options open. Zhengzhou University is MOE-listed. PMDC recognises both categories.

Q7: Is Zhengzhou University safe for Pakistani female students?

Yes. Female international students are housed in the international dormitory with card-controlled access and campus-wide CCTV. Zhengzhou has a large Hui Muslim community, halal food, and mosques. MTZ arranges female-appropriate placement, briefs your family before enrolment, and keeps a direct parent contact line open at +92 315 155 5507 throughout the degree.

Q8: What is the NLE and does it apply to Zhengzhou University graduates?

The NLE is the National Licensing Examination administered by PMDC. Every Pakistani who completes an MBBS abroad, including at Zhengzhou University, must pass the NLE to register and practise in Pakistan, regardless of the country of study. MTZ briefs your child on the NLE pathway before they graduate.

Q9: How many Pakistani students are currently studying at Zhengzhou University?

Zhengzhou University hosts more than 2,300 international students from 88 countries, including around 940 international MBBS undergraduates from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia and other countries. Your child joins an established South Asian and Muslim student community, not a handful of isolated students.

Q10: Does MTZ charge for the eligibility check?

No. The initial eligibility review is free. Your family sends your child’s FSc marks and passport details, and MTZ confirms whether your child meets Zhengzhou University’s academic, age, and English requirements and maps the CSCA timeline, before any fee or commitment.

Q11: What is the CSCA exam and is it required for Zhengzhou University?

The CSCA is the China Standardized Common Admission entrance examination, and it is a mandatory admission requirement for Zhengzhou University, confirmed on the official Zhengzhou University international admissions site. Your child cannot be admitted without sitting and passing it. CSCA covers core science subjects, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and is held in multiple sittings across the year, with typical windows in January, March, April, June, and December. For the September intake, the last practical sitting is the spring window (around April), because a later sitting risks the result not being ready before the intake closes. Your child registers at csca.cn (opens in a new tab). MTZ schedules CSCA in the January to April window to protect the deadline.

Q12: Will my child need to learn Chinese at Zhengzhou University?

The MBBS is taught in English, so your child does not study in Chinese, but Chinese language is part of the curriculum because HSK Level 4 is required for the Year 6 clinical internship. This lets your child speak with patients during ward rotations. The curriculum builds this Chinese gradually across the earlier years, so your child is ready by the internship.
