Can Pakistani Students Get Fully Funded Scholarships Abroad?

Yes. Pakistani students can win fully funded scholarships for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD study through government and university programmes in China, Italy, Hungary, the UK, Japan, Korea, Germany, and more. MTZ Global Visa Consultants assesses your profile honestly, matches you to programmes where you compete, and helps you build and submit a strong application. MTZ does not award or guarantee any scholarship.

Where This Started

Early in a career that now spans more than 25 years, MTZ’s founder helped a close friend win a Master’s scholarship in Italy: the right programme, a research proposal shaped to what the funder wanted to support, and a clean visa file. His friend won the scholarship, and the visa.
That one case opened a door. Word spread through personal networks, and honest scholarship guidance became one of the core services MTZ Global Visa Consultants was built around when the company was established in 2025. Today MTZ is among the stronger scholarship consultancies in Islamabad and Lahore for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD applications, with its deepest track record in Chinese, Italian, and European programmes. MTZ wins on the quality of the applications its students submit, not on volume marketing.

Our Two Strongest Scholarship Routes: China and Italy

These are the two destinations where MTZ’s guidance is strongest and its results are real. Both offer fully funded and partially funded routes for Pakistani students across study levels.

China: CSC and Provincial Scholarships

The Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC), administered by the China Scholarship Council under China’s Ministry of Education, funds Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD study at top-ranked Chinese universities, alongside provincial and university scholarships. MTZ guides Pakistani students through programme selection, the A and B application tracks, and document preparation.

Italy: Invest Your Talent, MAECI, Regional Grants

Italy offers a layered scholarship landscape: the Invest Your Talent in Italy programme, MAECI government scholarships, DSU regional grants, and university tuition waivers. This is where MTZ’s scholarship work began over two decades ago, and it remains one of its strongest areas

Scholarship Programmes We Help You Apply For

MTZ does not claim expertise in every scholarship on earth. Below are the programmes where its guidance is strongest. Select any programme to see its full detail, eligibility, and the official link on the relevant MTZ country page.

Fully Funded, Partial, and What the Difference Means for You

Knowing the type of scholarship you are chasing changes your whole strategy. A fully funded award covers tuition, a monthly stipend, and usually accommodation and insurance. A partial award covers tuition or a portion of it, and you fund living costs yourself

Graduation cap with a diploma and a green checkmark, symbolizing graduation or completed certification.

fully funded

Fully funded national programmes such as CSC, Erasmus Mundus, and Stipendium Hungaricum are selective and reward strong academics and a clear research direction.

Blue wallet with coins and a small stack of coins, symbolizing savings or discounts.

partial

Partial and university scholarships in the UK, Canada, and Australia are less celebrated but often more reachable.

Document or certificate with a blue ribbon beside a red no-entry symbol, indicating revoked or invalid credentials/certificate.

without ielts

Many programmes accept a Medium of Instruction certificate in place of IELTS, and MTZ confirms the exact language requirement for each programme before you apply.

What Real Scholarship Work Looks Like

Support runs from your first question to the day you arrive at your university. Each step below is real application work, not form-filling.

Honest Profile Assessment First

Before any talk of programmes, MTZ reviews your CV, transcripts, research experience, publications, and language scores, then tells you which scholarship tiers are realistic for you and which are not.

Programme-Specific Matching

CSC applications work differently from Erasmus Mundus. DAAD rewards a different applicant from Stipendium Hungaricum. MTZ matches your profile to programmes where you hold real competitive positioning.

Research Proposal Construction

For PhD and most Master’s scholarships, the proposal is where applications are won or lost. MTZ helps you shape one that reflects the funder’s priorities.

Statement of Purpose and Personal Narrative

Generic statements get rejected. MTZ helps you connect your past work to the specific programme, supervisor, and funder, without templated language reviewers see every day.

Supervisor Outreach for PhD

A supportive supervisor often decides a PhD application. MTZ helps you identify suitable supervisors and draft professional outreach that does not read like copy-paste.

Submission, Tracking, and Follow-Up

Applications go through the correct official portal, get tracked through the decision cycle, and are followed up where interviews or extra materials are required.

What MTZ Does Not Promise, and Why That Matters

Scholarship consulting is the most over-promised service in Pakistan’s study abroad market. Here is what MTZ will not tell you.

MTZ cannot guarantee any scholarship. Awards are decided by Chinese university committees, DAAD panels, Erasmus Mundus consortium boards, Hungarian ministry reviewers, and Italian regional authorities. None of them take instructions from agents.

MTZ cannot make a weak profile competitive for a fully funded scholarship. CSC, Erasmus Mundus, and DAAD are selective. If your grades, research experience, or language scores are not there, MTZ tells you before you invest months of work.

MTZ does not submit false documents or inflated claims, ever. The scholarships its students win are won on real profiles.

MTZ cannot speed up decision cycles, and does not commit to a named university or supervisor before seeing your full profile. Some cycles, strong candidates still are not funded. That is how competitive scholarships work. What MTZ promises is that your application will be one of the strongest in the pile.

Common Questions From Scholarship Applicants

What GPA do I need for a fully funded scholarship?

There is no single cutoff across all programmes, but competitive candidates for CSC, Erasmus Mundus, and DAAD usually sit in the upper portion of their graduating class. GPA is not the whole story: research experience, publications for PhD, language scores, and programme fit all matter. Send your transcripts and MTZ will assess your profile honestly.

Can I apply to multiple scholarships in the same cycle?

Yes, and for most serious candidates MTZ recommends it. Applying to CSC, Erasmus Mundus, Stipendium Hungaricum, and DAAD in parallel, where your field and profile fit, is a strategy rather than hedging. It is more work, and it improves your overall funding odds.

Do I need IELTS or HSK for a scholarship?

For English-taught programmes, most scholarships require IELTS or TOEFL. For Chinese-taught programmes on CSC, HSK 4 or higher is usually required. For German-taught DAAD programmes, German proficiency is required. Many programmes accept a Medium of Instruction certificate, and MTZ confirms the exact requirement per programme.

How long does the full scholarship application process take?

For most fully funded programmes, serious preparation takes 2 to 4 months for the research proposal, statement of purpose, supervisor outreach, recommendation letters, and document attestation. MTZ recommends starting 6 to 9 months before the deadline.

Can I apply for a scholarship without a Master’s?

For most Master’s-level scholarships, a strong Bachelor’s is the main requirement. For PhD-level scholarships, you usually need a completed Master’s, or to be completing one, plus a research proposal aligned to a supervisor. Rules vary by programme.

Can Pakistani students get fully funded scholarships without IELTS?

In many cases, yes. A Medium of Instruction certificate from your previous institution is accepted by a number of programmes in China, Hungary, and elsewhere. MTZ checks the current language rule for each programme before you apply, so you do not rely on outdated information.

What if I already have a partial scholarship and need more funding?

MTZ can help. If you hold a partial tuition waiver and need help applying for living-cost funding, or you are stacking multiple partial awards, send the details on WhatsApp and MTZ will map what is possible.

Can you help if I have been rejected from a scholarship before?

Usually, yes. A previous rejection does not disqualify you, but MTZ needs to understand why it happened. Often the application had fixable weaknesses such as a weak research proposal, a generic statement, or poor programme fit. Send the details and MTZ will assess honestly whether a stronger application could change next cycle’s outcome.

Send Your CV. MTZ Will Tell You What Is Actually Possible.

Share your CV, transcripts, and target field. You will receive an honest read on which fully funded scholarships are realistic for your profile, what your application strategy should look like, and what the service fee would be for the work involved. Usually within the same working day. No sales pressure. No inflated claims. The profile assessment is free.
