The City, Xinxiang, Henan
Xinxiang is a mid-sized city in northern Henan, north of the Yellow River and against the foothills of the Taihang Mountains, about 90 kilometres from the provincial capital Zhengzhou. It is quieter and cheaper than the big coastal cities, which keeps your child’s living costs low. Winters are cool to cold, around minus 3 to plus 5 degrees Celsius, and summers are hot, around 28 to 35 degrees, so a proper winter coat is needed for the first term. The nearest airport is Zhengzhou Xinzheng International, about 90 kilometres away, and MTZ arranges your child’s collection from there at no charge.
