Age Limit
DMU’s standard age limit is 25 at the time of admission. Confirm this applies to your intake year with MTZ before submitting any application or fee.
Deadline
30 July 2026 is the stated 2026 intake deadline. MTZ advises beginning the process no later than May 2026 for September 2026 entry. Late starts increase the risk of missing the visa window.
Document Quality
DMU requires clean colour-scanned documents. Mobile phone photographs of certificates are rejected. Use a proper flatbed scanner. Documents with visible shadows, bent corners or low resolution cause immediate rejection of the file.
PMDC List Changes
PMDC recognition lists are updated periodically without advance notice. MTZ re-verifies PMDC status for every student before submission. Do not apply based on a recognition check done months earlier without re-verification.
CSCA Deadline
The CSCA exam is a mandatory admission requirement for WMU. It is held five times per year — January, March, April, June, and December. For September 2026 intake, the June sitting is the last practical sitting before the 30 July 2026 application deadline. Missing the June sitting means missing September 2026 enrolment entirely. Your child must register at csca.cn well before the sitting date.

The Campus
Wenzhou Medical University’s main campus sits in Chashan Higher Education Park, Ouhai District, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province — postal code 325035. The Chashan campus houses the School of International Studies, MBBS teaching buildings (Years 1 and 2), international student dormitories, campus canteen (including the Qingzhen halal section), sports facilities, a library holding over 2.20 million printed volumes, and direct bus access to Wenzhou city centre.
The International Education College (IEC) manages all administrative matters for international students — enrolment, residence permits, student ID, and welfare issues. Pakistani students at WMU have direct IEC access for administrative matters throughout their degree.

January averages 5 to 10 degrees C — cold, but without the extreme winters of Dalian or Harbin. Summers are hot and humid: July and August average 30 to 38 degrees C. Typhoon season runs July to September and occasionally disrupts transport for short periods. Pakistani students already at WMU describe the climate as manageable with appropriate preparation.
Transport within Wenzhou is straightforward. DiDi is reliable and widely used by students. City bus routes serve the Chashan campus directly. Wenzhou Longwan International Airport (WNZ) provides direct connections to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou — all common transit points for flights to Pakistan. Journey time from the Chashan campus to the airport is approximately 40 to 60 minutes by DiDi.
