Hubei Minzu University sits on a campus of more than 1,600 mu on Xueyuan Road in Enshi, set against the hills and rivers of the Wuling mountain region. Its 19 colleges include the Clinical Medical College and the International Education College that hosts your child, with a directly affiliated Tertiary Grade A hospital, Minda Hospital, on hand for clinical training. The library holds over 2.4 million volumes, and the medical faculty runs basic-medicine and virtual-simulation teaching centres for early clinical skills. The City, Enshi, Hubei Province
Enshi is the capital of the Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in south-west Hubei, a green prefecture city known for canyons, rivers and a calm pace rather than metropolitan crowds. The climate is subtropical highland: mild summers and cool to cold, damp winters, so your child needs warm clothing from late autumn. Enshi has its own airport with domestic links, and high-speed rail connects it to Wuhan and the wider province, so travel home through a major hub is workable. The smaller-city setting means lower living costs and fewer distractions, with a campus Muslim canteen on hand for everyday halal meals.
