6 Reasons Pakistani Families Choose Jinzhou Medical University
MTZ places Pakistani students at both MOE-listed and Non-MOE-listed Chinese universities, and the right choice depends on your child’s licensing goals and your family’s budget. The six reasons below are for families who have decided that an MOE-listed English-medium MBBS in Liaoning is the right fit. Each reason names what Jinzhou Medical University delivers against the risk of choosing the wrong MOE-listed peer.
1
A Recently Added MOE University Carries Less Listing History Than One Holding the Listing for Over a Decade
If your child is studying MBBS in China to keep international licensing pathways open such as USMLE, ECFMG, PLAB, UKMLA, AMC, and MCCQE, the length of the MOE listing matters. A university newly added to the MOE list carries less continuous track record than one that has held English-medium approval for over a decade. Jinzhou Medical University was approved by the Ministry of Education as a qualified institution for Clinical Medicine education in China in 2012 and has held the English-taught MBBS approval since then. Your child’s international licensing pathway rests on this length of standing.
2
Some MOE-Listed Universities Send Students to Rented Bases Instead of a Hospital the University Itself Runs
Clinical exposure in Years 3 to 6 shapes the doctor your child becomes. The risk among MOE-listed peers is variable hospital quality, with some universities relying on borrowed clinical arrangements rather than directly affiliated tertiary hospitals. Jinzhou Medical University runs three directly affiliated hospitals plus six non-directly affiliated hospitals, with 129 practical teaching bases overall. The First Affiliated Hospital is a Grade III Class A national-level tertiary hospital with 2,800 authorised beds, one of Liaoning Province’s three major regional medical centres, and the only provincial emergency medical rescue centre, advanced stroke centre, chest pain centre, and critical maternal treatment centre in western Liaoning. Your child rotates through this hospital from Year 3 onwards.
3
Studying in a Province Without an Established Pakistani-Student Track Record Adds First-Year Risk
The first semester of MBBS abroad is the highest-risk period for student withdrawal. A newer destination province with a thin Pakistani cohort puts your child in the worst position when something goes wrong in Month 1. Liaoning Province has hosted Pakistani MBBS students for over two decades across multiple medical universities, and Jinzhou Medical University has been recruiting international students since 1997. The university lists over 2,000 international students registered to date from 80 countries, and the School of International Education was established as a dedicated department in 2005. Your child arrives into an international-student structure that has been running for nearly three decades.
4
A Few MOE-Listed Universities Now Require the CSCA Entrance Examination, Adding Time, Cost, and a Sitting-Date Bottleneck
A growing number of MOE-listed Chinese universities require the CSCA entrance examination as a mandatory admission material. CSCA preparation typically requires three to six months of focused study, a sitting fee, and travel to a CSCA testing centre. Missing the last practical sitting before the application deadline means missing the September intake entirely. Jinzhou Medical University does not require the CSCA entrance examination for the English-taught MBBS programme. Your child applies on the strength of FSc marks, a valid MDCAT score under the current PMDC notification, and the standard JZMU document set, with no CSCA bottleneck.
5
Northeast China’s Bigger Cities Push Annual Tuition Above CNY 50,000 at Comparable MOE-Listed Universities
Among the 45 MOE-listed universities, English-taught MBBS tuition ranges from approximately CNY 30,000 to over CNY 50,000 per year. Premium-tier MOE-listed universities such as Nanjing Medical, Qingdao, and Xiamen sit at the upper end of this range. Jinzhou Medical University charges CNY 38,000 in annual tuition for the English-taught MBBS, with a hostel charge of CNY 3,500 per year. Over a 6-year MBBS, the gap between Jinzhou Medical and a premium-tier MOE peer compounds to a difference of PKR 30 lakh to PKR 50 lakh in tuition alone, while keeping the same MOE-listed recognition status. Your family gets the full English-medium MOE-listed pathway at a Standard-tier price point.
6
A Hospital With Light Caseload Means Your Child Sees Fewer Patients and Performs Fewer Procedures by Graduation
Clinical learning is built on case volume. A directly affiliated hospital with a thin patient load gives your child fewer real-world cases over the 6-year programme. The First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University records over 1.29 million outpatient visits per year, with 118,300 discharges and 35,600 surgical procedures annually, and serves patients from Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, and Hebei provinces. Your child rotates through a teaching hospital with the case volume of a regional referral centre, not a low-caseload provincial training base.

INTERNSHIP YEAR OPTION: Jinzhou Medical University runs the 6-year MBBS as 5 years of academic and clinical study plus 1 year of internship. Pakistani students may complete the Year 6 internship in China or in Pakistan, subject to PMDC and JZMU approval. If your child completes the internship in Pakistan, the Year 6 China-side costs (tuition CNY 38,000, hostel CNY 3,500, living costs, health insurance, and visa extension) are removed from the total. The 5-year total without the Year 6 internship in China is approximately CNY 299,900 (indicative PKR 1.20 Cr at 1 CNY = PKR 40). WhatsApp MTZ Islamabad or Lahore for the exact internship-pathway breakdown before committing to a route.
Can Your Child Apply for MBBS at Jinzhou Medical University?
Jinzhou Medical University sets its own entry requirements, and PMDC sets additional conditions for Pakistani students. Both apply. The table below covers the Jinzhou Medical University-specific requirements, and you must confirm PMDC’s current MDCAT requirement at pmdc.pk before applying.
Minimum 60% in senior high school, FSc, HSSC, or A-Levels. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology required as core subjects. PMDC NOC floor (60%) applies to all Pakistani applicants.
Valid MDCAT score required. PMDC current notification applies. Verify at pmdc.pk before applying.
17 to 25 years at time of enrolment, per Jinzhou Medical University international undergraduate admission rules.
Pakistani nationals. This guide covers Pakistani applicants only.
Not required for Pakistani FSc students from English-medium schools. Non-native English speakers without English-medium schooling: IELTS 6.0 minimum (each band 5.0) OR internet-based TOEFL 70 minimum (each section 15). JZMU conducts a brief online English interview.
HSK-4 not required as a Year 1 admission or progression gate. JZMU delivers MBBS academic instruction in English throughout the 6 years and teaches Chinese as a course from Year 1. Working Chinese proficiency becomes practically necessary from Year 3 onwards for ward communication with Chinese patients during clinical rotations.
Valid passport with minimum 1 year validity, police character certificate, foreigner physical examination form, bank statement (minimum USD 5,000 indicative), application form, fee acknowledgment form, FSc transcripts attested by IBCC, colour photograph on white background (35mm x 45mm), proof of medium of instruction in English.
Jinzhou Medical University requires all incoming international students to complete a Foreigner Physical Examination Form before the X1 student visa application. The form is issued by an authorised Pakistani medical centre and stamped by a registered physician. After arrival in Jinzhou, the JZMU School of International Education arranges a follow-up medical fitness check at the university healthcare centre covering a general physical examination, blood tests, chest X-ray, vision and hearing assessment, and a basic mental fitness review. The on-arrival examination is conducted on campus through the admission office, which schedules the appointment and accompanies your child. The on-arrival examination charge is approximately CNY 400, payable on arrival. Conditions that may affect admission status include severe infectious diseases, untreated mental health conditions, and any condition the examining physician determines incompatible with the 6-year MBBS programme. The on-arrival examination is not a barrier at the application stage.
MTZ checks five items before any Jinzhou Medical University application is submitted. First, PMDC recognition status verified at pmdc.pk on the day of submission, not from memory or a previous check. Second, FSc transcripts covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology attested by IBCC. Third, valid MDCAT score meeting the current PMDC notification. Fourth, passport validity of at least 18 months beyond the JZMU enrolment date of September 2026. Fifth, age within the Jinzhou Medical University 17 to 25 year limit at enrolment. No JZMU application is submitted without all five passing.
How MTZ Applies Pakistani Students to Jinzhou Medical University
The steps below cover the Jinzhou Medical University application only. For the full general MBBS application process for China, see our complete guide at /mbbs-in-china/.
Step 1
Eligibility Confirmation (Week 1)
WhatsApp MTZ Islamabad or Lahore with your child’s FSc transcripts and MDCAT result. MTZ confirms Jinzhou Medical University eligibility, checks PMDC status at pmdc.pk on the day, and verifies age against the JZMU 17 to 25 year limit at enrolment. This step is free.
Step 2
Document Preparation (Weeks 1 to 3)
Jinzhou Medical University’s required documents per the official School of International Education admission process: application form, fee acknowledgment form, FSc transcripts attested by IBCC, FSc graduation certificate, valid Pakistani passport with at least 1 year validity, MDCAT result, colour photograph on white background (35mm x 45mm), proof of medium-of-instruction certificate in English, police character certificate, foreigner physical examination form, bank statement for the Chinese Embassy with USD 5,000 indicative funds, and a no-objection certificate from PMDC. MTZ provides the complete checklist with attestation instructions.
Step 3
JZMU Online Application Submission
MTZ submits the application through Jinzhou Medical University’s official online application portal at applyjzmu.17gz.org on your behalf, with all documents uploaded in one complete package. The application fee of approximately CNY 800 is paid at this stage to register your child in Jinzhou Medical University’s School of International Education.
Step4
Pre-Admission Letter (Approximately 7 to 14 Working Days)
Jinzhou Medical University’s School of International Education reviews the submitted documents. If qualified, the office issues a pre-admission letter within 7 to 14 working days. MTZ monitors the application portal and informs you the same day the letter is issued.
Step 5
Online English Interview
Jinzhou Medical University conducts a brief online interview to evaluate your child’s English proficiency and personality, per the JZMU official admission process. This is not a competitive academic test. MTZ briefs your child on the interview format before the interview is scheduled.
Step 6
Formal Admission Letter and JW202 Form (After MOE China Approval)
Jinzhou Medical University is MOE-listed. A JW202 form is therefore required for your child’s X1 Student Visa application. After the interview is cleared and MOE China approves the placement, Jinzhou Medical University issues the Formal Admission Notice and the JW202 visa letter. MTZ receives both documents directly and couriers them to your home address in Pakistan
Step 7
X1 Student Visa Application
With the Admission Letter and JW202 in hand, MTZ prepares your child’s X1 Student Visa application for the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad. MTZ accompanies the CVASC submission. The X1 visa is the dedicated visa category for international students studying in China for longer than 180 days. See /china-student-visa/ for the full visa checklist.
Step 8
Pre-Departure Briefing and Arrival
MTZ conducts a pre-departure session covering what to pack for Jinzhou’s cold continental climate, halal food access on the JZMU campus and across Jinzhou city, JZMU campus layout, bank account setup at the on-campus Bank of China branch, VPN installation before departure from Pakistan, and first-week support contacts. The JZMU School of International Education collects your child from Jinzhou Bay Airport or coordinates pickup from Shenyang Taoxian International Airport. Your child arrives in September, completes the on-campus medical examination at the university healthcare centre, pays the tuition and hostel fees in CNY or USD on arrival, collects the student ID, and is assigned to the international dormitory.
For the full general process for Pakistani families, see the MBBS in China application guide for Pakistan.
Where Can Your Child Practise After MBBS from Jinzhou Medical University?
Jinzhou Medical University’s MOE-listed status and WFME accreditation open licensing pathways across multiple countries. The three most relevant for Pakistani families are covered below. For the full country-by-country comparison across all 29 MTZ universities, see /mbbs-china-licensing/.

MOE-Listed Status
Jinzhou Medical University is listed by the Ministry of Education of China as an approved institution for English-medium MBBS delivery to international students. JZMU was approved by the Ministry of Education as a qualified institution for Clinical Medicine education in China in 2012 and has held the English-taught MBBS approval since then. Jinzhou Medical University’s MOE-listed status is the foundational requirement for USMLE Step 1 eligibility and ECFMG application, supports PLAB and UKMLA applications for graduates targeting the UK, and underpins AMC eligibility for the Australia pathway. Verify Jinzhou Medical University’s MOE listing at the China MOE official portal: http://english.moe.gov.cn/ (new tab, rel=noopener noreferrer).
Pakistan, PMDC NLE Pathway
Jinzhou Medical University is on the PMDC recognised foreign institutions list under the entry “Jinzhou Medical University, Bachelor of Medicine in Medicine, MBBS, CHINA”. After completing the 6-year MBBS programme, Pakistani graduates must pass the NLE (National Licensing Examination) administered by PMDC to register and practise medicine in Pakistan. The NLE is mandatory for all Pakistani graduates of foreign medical universities regardless of country of study. MTZ re-verifies Jinzhou Medical University’s PMDC recognition status before placing every student. Always confirm the current PMDC list at https://pmdc.pk/ (new tab, rel=noopener noreferrer) before making any application decision.

ECFMG Eligibility (USA Pathway)
Jinzhou Medical University’s WFME accreditation and MOE-listed status support ECFMG eligibility for graduates who sit the USMLE licensing examination sequence (Step 1 followed by Step 2 CK). Jinzhou Medical University graduates may apply to ECFMG on completion of the degree. The ECFMG pathway also opens the doors for residency applications in the United States after the licensing exams are cleared. Verify current ECFMG eligibility through the World Directory of Medical Schools at https://search.wdoms.org/ (new tab, rel=noopener noreferrer) and at the ECFMG / Intealth source at https://www.faimer.org/ (new tab, rel=noopener noreferrer). For a full country-by-country licensing comparison across all 29 MTZ universities, see /mbbs-china-licensing/.
MOE Listed vs Non-MOE Listed Universities, Which Suits You?
The 29 PMDC-approved Chinese medical universities where MTZ places Pakistani students split into two categories. Understanding the difference is the single most important decision a Pakistani family makes after committing to MBBS in China.
| Factor | MOE-Listed 13 | Non-MOE Listed (16) |
|---|---|---|
| Medium of instruction | English throughout all 6 years | Bilingual structure: English in Years 1 to 2, Chinese-medium teaching introduced from Year 3 for clinical content |
| HSK-4 Mandarin requirement | Not required as a Year 1 admission or progression gate. Chinese is taught as a course from Year 1. Working Chinese proficiency becomes practically necessary from Year 3 for ward communication during clinical rotations. | Required: students must reach HSK Level 4 by end of Year 1 to progress to clinical years. Chinese language work is front-loaded so clinical years are conducted with the language foundation already in place. |
| Annual cost PKR (at 1 CNY = PKR 40) | PKR 12 lakh to PKR 25 lakh per year, depending on the specific MOE-listed university | PKR 8 lakh to PKR 14 lakh per year, depending on the specific Non-MOE university |
| PMDC recognition pathway | Yes, every MOE-listed university on MTZ’s list is PMDC-recognised | Yes, every Non-MOE listed university on MTZ’s list is PMDC-recognised |
| ECFMG / USMLE eligibility | Eligible, MOE listing is the foundational requirement | Not eligible for USMLE / ECFMG |
| PLAB / UKMLA (UK) | Eligible subject to GMC primary medical qualification verification | Not eligible for PLAB / UKMLA |
| AMC (Australia) | Eligible | Not eligible |
| MCCQE (Canada) | Eligible | Not eligible |
| DHA / MOHAP / DOH (UAE) | Eligible, strong recognition across GCC member states | Eligible, accepted with PMDC clearance |
| GCC licensing | Strong position with named MOE-listed status | Accepted with PMDC clearance |
| NMC India / BMDC Bangladesh | See footnote below | See footnote below |
| Typical student profile | Families targeting international licensing pathways (USMLE, PLAB, AMC, MCCQE) alongside PMDC NLE, or Gulf placement with the strongest possible recognition | Families committed to a PMDC NLE pathway and Gulf placement, comfortable with bilingual study and the HSK-4 progression gate |
| MTZ recommendation | Choose if your child wants the broadest licensing keys open, including USA and UK pathways | Choose if your child is set on practising in Pakistan or the Gulf and is comfortable with Chinese-medium clinical years |
NMC India and BMDC Bangladesh apply to those countries’ students only. Pakistani students are unaffected by NMC or BMDC status. PMDC recognises both MOE-listed and Non-MOE listed Chinese universities for Pakistani graduates, subject to current PMDC notifications. Verify the current PMDC list at https://pmdc.pk/ (new tab, rel=noopener noreferrer) before applying.

Refund Policy and Risk Flags: Read Before You Pay
Every family needs to understand what is refundable and what is not before any payment is made to Jinzhou Medical University or to MTZ. The table below covers refund positions, followed by four risk flags MTZ wants every Pakistani family to read carefully.
Refund Policy
Application fee (CNY 800, approx.)
Non-refundable. Paid directly to JZMU at the application stage to register your child in the School of International Education portal.
Tuition fee (CNY 38,000 per year)
Paid on arrival at Jinzhou Medical University, refund policy governed by JZMU School of International Education rules. Partial refund possible in the first weeks under JZMU policy if your child withdraws before the registration cut-off. MTZ confirms the exact JZMU refund policy in writing before payment.
Hostel fee
Hostel charge of CNY 3,500 per year is paid on arrival to JZMU. Any one-time deposit is refundable at end of stay subject to room condition, JZMU dormitory rules apply.
X1 visa rejection
If the X1 visa is refused, refundable and non-refundable components differ. MTZ sets out exactly what is recoverable before you pay.
MTZ service fee
Defined in your MTZ engagement letter, signed before any payment is requested. No verbal-only commitments.
Risk flags — read these before applying:
Age Limit
Jinzhou Medical University enforces an age limit of 17 to 25 years at time of enrolment for the September 2026 international undergraduate intake. If your child turns 26 before the JZMU registration date, the application will not be processed regardless of FSc marks or MDCAT score. MTZ checks the age against the JZMU enrolment date as the first step of every Jinzhou Medical University application.
Application Deadline
The September 2026 intake closes on the date published in the JZMU 2026 International Student Undergraduate Admissions Brochure. Late applications are not processed by JZMU regardless of fee payment. The CSCA-style applications for Tier-1 medical universities elsewhere are not relevant to Jinzhou Medical University, but the JZMU document set and embassy visa lead time still require an early start. MTZ recommends starting the application 8 to 12 weeks before the published deadline to keep document attestation, embassy submission, and Eid breaks within the window.
Document Quality
JZMU rejects FSc transcripts that are not IBCC-attested, passport photographs that do not match the 35mm x 45mm white-background specification, and bank statements that do not meet the minimum indicative balance for the Chinese Embassy. A single weak document delays the application by 2 to 4 weeks. MTZ pre-checks every document against the JZMU and Chinese Embassy specifications before submission.
PMDC List Changes
The PMDC recognised foreign institutions list is updated periodically. A university recognised on the list today may have its status reviewed in the future. MTZ re-verifies the PMDC list at pmdc.pk on the day every Jinzhou Medical University application is submitted, not from memory or a previous check. Confirm the current PMDC list at https://pmdc.pk/ (new tab, rel=noopener noreferrer) before applying.
Scholarships for MBBS Students at Jinzhou Medical University
Read this section carefully before any agent tells you a scholarship is guaranteed. MTZ’s position on scholarships is stated below in full, it does not change based on what you want to hear.
Some partner universities offer merit-based awards to high-performing MBBS students from their second year, based on academic performance — these are the university’s independent decisions and are not guaranteed at admission. MTZ Global Visa Consultants does not assure or guarantee scholarships for MBBS study in China. For fully funded MS and PhD scholarships, see our Global Scholarships hub.
Jinzhou Medical University scholarship streams (factual, not guaranteed):
JZMU Merit Scholarship (–brand-accent-gold border-left 4px)
University, awarded from Year 2
Merit-based award for international MBBS students with high academic performance in Year 1, decided independently by Jinzhou Medical University. Tuition reduction or fixed-amount award per the JZMU School of International Education policy. Not guaranteed at admission. Renewal subject to continued academic performance.
Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) at JZMU
National-level Chinese Government Scholarship
Jinzhou Medical University was officially listed by the Ministry of Education in 2014 as one of the universities accepting Chinese Government Scholarship for international students. Available through CSC competitive application via the China Scholarship Council, not through MTZ. Highly competitive, MBBS-level CSC awards are rare. MS and PhD CSC awards are the more realistic pathway.
Liaoning Provincial Government Scholarship
Provincial-level
Limited number of awards for international students at Liaoning Province universities, including Jinzhou Medical University. Application is direct to the provincial scholarship office, decision is independent of MTZ.
One Belt One Road Scholarship
National-level (Belt and Road)
Jinzhou Medical University participates in the Belt and Road international student strategy with 80 partner countries. Limited Belt and Road awards may be available through national application channels, not guaranteed.
For fully funded scholarships, see the MTZ Global Scholarships hub at /global-scholarships/ for the MS and PhD pathways MTZ does actively prepare students for.
What MTZ Will Not Promise for Jinzhou Medical University
CEO Mubbashir Qureshi brings 25+ years of personal experience to every application MTZ handles. We have seen what happens when consultants overpromise. Here is our position, in writing.
What MTZ Will Not Do
Admission to Jinzhou Medical University is never guaranteed at the enquiry stage, regardless of FSc marks. JZMU School of International Education makes the final admission decision after document review and the online English interview.
PKR figures stay indicative at 1 CNY = PKR 40, and MTZ will not promise a fixed PKR cost for any year of the 6-year programme. The actual PKR cost on the date of payment depends on the prevailing exchange rate.
Year-on-year academic performance is your child’s responsibility. MTZ does not promise that your child will clear every JZMU examination or progress smoothly through every clinical rotation.
No agent, including MTZ, can promise a Jinzhou Medical University merit scholarship at the admission stage. JZMU decides its own merit awards from Year 2 based on academic performance, and the S5 paragraph in Block 17 sets out this position in full.
PMDC policy can change. MTZ does not promise that the current PMDC notification on MDCAT validity, FSc percentage, internship rules, or NLE format will be the policy in force on the date your child graduates in 2032.
X1 student visa timing is controlled by the Chinese Embassy and CVASC, not by MTZ. Embassy processing windows shift with Pakistani public holidays, Chinese national holidays, and embassy security reviews, and MTZ will not promise a fixed visa turnaround.
Clinical rotation placement inside the First, Second, or Third Affiliated Hospitals is decided by the JZMU School of International Education and the clinical department heads. MTZ does not promise a specific hospital, specific specialty week, or specific consultant for any rotation.
What MTZ Commits To
Every Jinzhou Medical University application starts with a live PMDC verification at pmdc.pk on the day of submission, not from memory or a previous check.
You receive a written fee breakdown in CNY and indicative PKR before any payment is requested, with the JZMU tuition, hostel, and one-time charges itemised line by line per Block 7.
The 6-year MTZ relationship stays reachable. WhatsApp Islamabad +92 315 155 5507 and WhatsApp Lahore +92 328 900 2222 answer Pakistani parents throughout your child’s degree, not only until the JW202 is couriered.
If the X1 visa is rejected on a document or process ground, MTZ resubmits at no additional service fee. The CVASC visa-processing fee and the JZMU application fee remain non-refundable per Block 16.
MTZ only places Pakistani students at PMDC-recognised, MTZ-verified Chinese universities. No unverified university is offered, regardless of commission incentives elsewhere in the market.

Clearing Up Misinformation About MBBS at Jinzhou Medical University
Incorrect information about MBBS at Jinzhou Medical University circulates online and through unqualified agents. Read the facts.

“Jinzhou Medical University is not recognised by PMDC”
Jinzhou Medical University is on the official PMDC recognised foreign institutions list under the entry “Jinzhou Medical University, Bachelor of Medicine in Medicine, MBBS, CHINA”. MTZ verified the listing on the PMDC site on 28 May 2026 and re-verifies before every student placement. Confirm the current PMDC list at https://pmdc.pk/ (new tab, rel=noopener noreferrer).

“The MBBS at Jinzhou Medical University is not in English, you must learn Mandarin”
The MBBS programme at Jinzhou Medical University is delivered in English throughout all 6 years, approved by China’s Ministry of Education as a qualified English-Taught MBBS programme in 2012. The admission letter clearly states “MBBS English Taught”. HSK-4 is not required as a Year 1 progression gate. Chinese language is taught as a course from Year 1 to support patient communication during clinical rotations from Year 3 onwards, but academic lectures, textbooks, examinations, and clinical teaching remain in English.

“Chinese MBBS degrees are not accepted anywhere outside Pakistan”
Jinzhou Medical University is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS), the joint directory of WFME and FAIMER. JZMU graduates are eligible to apply for USMLE/ECFMG (USA), PLAB/UKMLA (UK, subject to GMC verification), AMC (Australia), MCCQE (Canada), and DHA/MOHAP/DOH/SCHS (Gulf), in addition to the PMDC NLE pathway in Pakistan. Block 10 sets out the full licensing position with live source links.

“Jinzhou is too extreme a city for Pakistani students”
Jinzhou is a coastal industrial city of approximately 3 million people in western Liaoning, 4 hours by high-speed rail from Beijing and 1 hour from Shenyang. The Hui-Muslim community is established with the Jinzhou Mosque in the city centre. The campus Qingzhen canteen serves halal meals three times a day during semester. Jinzhou Medical University has hosted international students since 1997 and over 2,000 students from 80 countries have registered to date. Winters are cold (minus 10°C to minus 2°C from December to February), but the JZMU international dormitory has 24-hour central heating and the city’s medical campus is built for cold-climate winter operation.

“You can get MBBS in China cheaply at Jinzhou Medical University without MDCAT”
PMDC requires a valid MDCAT score for any Pakistani student studying MBBS abroad, including at Jinzhou Medical University. Skipping MDCAT means the PMDC NOC is not issued, the degree is not recognised on return to Pakistan, and the NLE pathway is closed. Any agent telling a Pakistani family that MDCAT can be bypassed for JZMU is putting your child’s future PMDC registration at risk. MTZ refuses to submit any JZMU application without a valid MDCAT score meeting the current PMDC notification.

“MTZ guarantees admission to Jinzhou Medical University”
MTZ does not guarantee admission to Jinzhou Medical University or to any other Chinese medical university. Jinzhou Medical University’s School of International Education makes the final admission decision after document review and the online English interview. MTZ’s role is to prepare the strongest possible application, verify PMDC and document compliance, manage the JZMU online portal submission, brief your child for the interview, and coordinate the X1 visa pathway. The promise position is set out in full in Block 18.
