Global Scholarships — Honestly Assessed, Expertly Built

Chinese CSC, Erasmus Mundus, DAAD, Stipendium Hungaricum, Italian regional programs, and more. We don’t promise funding — we help the right candidates build applications that actually compete.

Scholarships have been our specialty for over 15 years
Among Islamabad & Lahore’s stronger scholarship consultancies for MS & PhD
Partnered with YOUDU Education, upGrad GSP & LEAP GeeBee

Where This Started

Fifteen years ago, before MTZ existed in its current form, our founder was working for another study abroad consultancy firm in Islamabad. A close friend came to him privately with a problem: he wanted to pursue a Master’s in Italy on scholarship, and he didn’t know how to build a competitive application.
Our founder helped him find the right scholarship program, shape his research proposal so it matched what the funder actually wanted to support, and prepare a visa file that wouldn’t raise red flags. His friend got the scholarship. And the visa.
That one case opened a door. Word spread quietly through personal networks. Other students started asking for the same kind of help — not aggressive sales pitches, just honest assessment of whether their profile could compete. Over time, this became one of the core services that MTZ Global Visa Consultants was built around.
Today, we’re among the stronger scholarship consultancies in Islamabad and Lahore for Master’s and PhD applications — particularly for Chinese, European, and Italian programs. We don’t win on volume marketing. We win on the quality of the applications our students actually submit.

The Scholarship Programs We Know Best

We don’t claim expertise in every scholarship on earth. These are the programs where our guidance is strongest and our track record is real:

Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) — China

Fully funded Master’s and PhD scholarships covering tuition, accommodation, monthly stipend, and medical insurance at top-ranked Chinese universities. Applications typically open December to March. Our China scholarship work runs through our YOUDU Education partnership with 100+ top-ranked Chinese universities.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters — Europe

Fully funded, two-year Joint Master’s programs across multiple European universities. Highly competitive but genuinely reachable for strong Pakistani candidates. Applications typically open October to January for the following academic year. Requires a coherent academic story across two or more host countries.

DAAD Scholarships — Germany

The German Academic Exchange Service offers a wide range of scholarships, including fully funded Master’s and PhD programs. DAAD rewards academic rigor, research alignment, and clarity of purpose. Requirements vary significantly by program — we help you identify which DAAD scheme matches your profile.

Stipendium Hungaricum — Hungary

A fully funded Hungarian government scholarship covering tuition, monthly stipend, accommodation contribution, and medical insurance. Open to Pakistani Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD applicants. Applications typically run January to February. Realistic for competitive applicants with strong academics.

Italian Regional & University Scholarships — Italy

Italy has a layered scholarship landscape — DSU regional grants, university-specific tuition waivers, and merit-based awards. This is where our founder’s scholarship work began fifteen years ago, and it remains one of our strongest areas. Italian scholarships reward applicants who research their specific region and university carefully.

University-Specific Scholarships — UK, Canada, Australia

Many UK, Canadian, and Australian universities offer partial scholarships and merit-based tuition waivers to international students. These are less celebrated than the fully funded national programs but are often more accessible. Through our LEAP GeeBee and upGrad GSP partnerships, we help identify and apply for the ones that fit your profile.

What Real Scholarship Work Looks Like

End-to-end support from your first question to your arrival in Britain:

Honest profile assessment first.

Before we talk about programs, we look at your CV, transcripts, research experience, publications (if any), and language scores. We tell you which scholarship tiers are realistic for you — and which aren’t.

Program-specific matching.

CSC applications work differently from Erasmus Mundus. DAAD rewards a different kind of applicant than Stipendium Hungaricum. We match your profile to the programs where you have real competitive positioning — not to whichever one is easiest to apply for.

Research proposal construction.

For PhD and most Master’s scholarships, the research proposal is where applications are won or lost. We work with you to shape a proposal that reflects the funder’s priorities, not just your academic interests.

Statement of purpose & personal narrative.

Generic SoPs get rejected. We help you build a narrative that connects your past work to the specific program, specific supervisor (where relevant), and specific funder — without templated language that reviewers see every day.

Supervisor outreach (for PhD).

For PhD applications, a supportive supervisor often makes the difference. We help you identify suitable supervisors and draft professional outreach emails that don’t read like copy-paste.

Submission, tracking, and follow-up.

Applications submitted through the correct portal (CSC, DAAD, Stipendium Hungaricum, university portals), tracked through the decision cycle, and followed up where interviews or additional materials are required.

Why Serious Candidates Come to Us

15 Years of Scholarship Work

This isn’t a service we added last year to catch a trend. Our founder’s first scholarship case was fifteen years ago, and scholarships have been core to our business ever since. We’ve seen what works across multiple application cycles, different funders, and changing admission landscapes.

We Say No Honestly

If your profile isn’t competitive for a specific scholarship, we’ll say so — so you don’t spend months building an application that was never going to land. We’d rather lose a fee today than damage the track record that makes us worth coming to in the first place.

Real Application Work, Not Form-Filling

Most scholarship consultancies treat applications as a document forwarding service. We treat them as a 2-to-4-month project — research proposals, statements of purpose, supervisor outreach, and iterative refinement. That’s the difference between a submitted application and a competitive one.

How Your Scholarship Application Takes Shape

1

Free profile assessment

Send your CV, transcripts, and target field on WhatsApp. We give you an honest read on which scholarship tiers are realistic, and what your application strategy should look like — usually within the same working day.

2

Program matching

We identify 2 to 4 scholarship programs where your profile is competitive, and recommend which ones to pursue in parallel. Most serious candidates apply to multiple programs in the same cycle.

3

Application building (2 to 4 months)

Research proposal, statement of purpose, supervisor outreach, recommendation letters, academic attestation, and supporting documentation. This is where the real work happens and where we add the most value.

4

Submission and tracking

Applications submitted through the right portals, tracked through decision cycles, and followed up where interviews or additional materials are required.

5

Post-acceptance & visa

Once you’re accepted with funding, we handle your student visa end-to-end — the same process that’s kept our China visa success rate at 100% and that transfers across markets.

What We Don’t Promise — And Why That Matters

Scholarship consulting is the most over-promised service in Pakistan’s study abroad market. Here’s what we won’t tell you:

We can’t guarantee any scholarship. No one can. Awards are decided by Chinese university committees, DAAD panels, Erasmus Mundus consortium boards, Hungarian ministry reviewers, and Italian regional authorities — none of whom take instructions from agents.

We can’t make weak profiles competitive for fully funded scholarships. CSC, Erasmus Mundus, and DAAD are genuinely selective. If your GPA, research experience, or language scores aren’t there, we’ll tell you before you invest months of work and our fee.

We don’t submit fake documents or inflated claims. Ever. The scholarships we help students win are won on real profiles, or they’re not worth winning.

We can’t speed up decision cycles. CSC runs December to March. Erasmus Mundus runs October to January. Stipendium Hungaricum runs January to February. These dates don’t move because a student is in a hurry.

We don’t promise specific universities or supervisors until we see your full profile. Anyone who commits to a named university before looking at your CV is either lying or guessing.

Some cycles, strong candidates don’t get funded. That’s how competitive scholarships work. What we can promise is that your application will be one of the strongest ones in the pile — not that the pile will be smaller than it is.

Start With a Free Profile Assessment

Our scholarship service fee depends on the scholarship type, the number of programs you apply to in parallel, and how much application-building your case needs. A single CSC application is different work from a multi-program PhD strategy across three countries. We don’t publish one fee because one fee doesn’t apply.

Get Your UK Shortlist

Send your CV and target field on WhatsApp. We’ll assess your profile honestly which scholarships are realistic, which aren’t, what your strategy should look like, and what our fee will be for the work involved. Usually within the same working day.

We’ll give you an honest read on your scholarship chances. No fee for the assessment.

F.A.Q.

Common Questions From Scholarship Applicants

  • What GPA do I need for a fully funded scholarship?

There’s no single cutoff across all programs, but competitive candidates for CSC, Erasmus Mundus, and DAAD typically have strong undergraduate grades — generally in the upper portion of their graduating class. GPA alone isn’t the whole story: research experience, publications (for PhD), language scores, and program fit all matter. Send us your transcripts and we’ll give you an honest assessment.

  • Can I apply to multiple scholarships in the same cycle?

Yes, and for most serious candidates we recommend it. Applying to CSC, Erasmus Mundus, Stipendium Hungaricum, and DAAD in parallel (where your field and profile fit) is a strategy, not hedging. It’s more work, but it significantly improves your overall funding odds.

  • Do I need IELTS or HSK for scholarships?

For English-taught programs, most scholarships require IELTS or TOEFL (usually 6.5+ for Master’s, 7.0+ for PhD). For Chinese-taught programs on CSC, HSK 4 or higher is typically required. For DAAD German-taught programs, German proficiency is required. We’ll confirm exact language requirements per program.

  • How long does the full scholarship application process take?

For most fully funded programs, serious application preparation takes 2 to 4 months — research proposal, statement of purpose, supervisor outreach, recommendation letters, and document attestation. We recommend starting 6 to 9 months before the deadline if you want to be competitive.

  • Can I apply for a scholarship without a Master’s?

For most Master’s-level scholarships, yes — a strong Bachelor’s is the main requirement. For PhD-level scholarships, you typically need a completed Master’s (or be completing one) plus a research proposal aligned to a supervisor. Rules vary by program.

  • What if I already have a partial scholarship and need help securing more?

Happy to help. If you’ve received a partial tuition waiver and need help applying for additional living cost funding, or if you’re stacking multiple partial awards, send us the details on WhatsApp and we’ll map out what’s possible.

  • Can you help if I’ve been rejected from a scholarship before?

Usually, yes. A previous rejection doesn’t disqualify you — but we need to understand why it happened. Often the underlying application had fixable weaknesses (weak research proposal, generic SoP, poor program fit). Send us the details and we’ll assess honestly whether a stronger application could change the outcome next cycle.

Send Us Your CV. We’ll Tell You What’s Actually Possible.

Share your CV, transcripts, and target field on WhatsApp. We’ll tell you honestly which scholarships are realistic for your profile, what your application strategy should look like, and what our fee will be. No sales pressure. No inflated claims.
